FIELD ENGINEERING
We provide excellent and accurate field engineering services for Fiber to the Home projects, Fiber to Commercial projects (EPON, GPON), HFC Field Engineering, Cell Tower Site Engineering, Cell Tower Back-Haul Engineering, DAS Systems, and permitting, along with any other field engineering applications that are required. We use Tech Assist, created by B2Innovation , in our field engineering processes to ensure that our mapping is extremely accurate (based on GPS coordinates) and legible; providing an increased production rate, while ensuring a quality that exceeds historical field engineering. Our Field Engineers are continuously updated to ensure the latest information is available. The iPad’s GPS takes the engineer to their job location and then it walks them through every job, ensuring that nothing is missed and all work looks consistent. All field notes are submitted digitally, eliminating the issue of reading handwriting. When the field engineer is finished with their job, it is automatically uploaded to the Cloud and the quality control department is notified of the completion of work. Once the quality control department has ensured that the highest level of accuracy has been achieved, the application notifies management and the job is forwarded to the Design Department, where it is meticulously reviewed and engineered into an exemplary product.
DESIGN ENGINEERING
Our design department is second to none. We have experienced designers, who are as dedicated to quality as they are at meeting contractual deadlines. We have the ability to operate on a broad spectrum of design software programs, with a multitude of platforms including Bentley V8.5, V8i, Bentley Comms, AutoCAD, Lode Data, Small World, VISIO, and GNIS. Our designers have worked on projects on every continent in the world and have designed systems from analog coax head ends, to analog and digital telephony, to Hybrid Fiber-Coax, to FTTX, as well as cell tower and DAS systems. We have been involved in the newest Wi-Fi architecture, and are available for all of your drafting and design engineering needs.
CONSTRUCTION DEPARTMENT
The Construction Department at DTEC, Inc. has an outstanding track record of crews that perform top quality work, while consistently meeting deadlines and always has customer relations in mind, while working in Right of Way areas and easements. There is nothing worse than spending time and resources to build a job when there are countless errors that require constant management. Our crews have proven time and time again that they will out build other crews and will follow the specifications and requirements set forth by the MSO. We listen to what the customer wants and make sure that we follow those instructions. Our constructions crews are available for turn-key operations as well as one off or jobs separate from the projects that we engineer. Our Construction crews are available for strand, coax, and fiber installation, underground construction (trenching and directional boring), coax and fiber splicing (loose tube or ribbon), red light and OTDR reports.
WIRELESS DEPARTMENT
The wireless department at DTEC, Inc. has a multitude of experience in cell site surveys, DAS design, and wireless construction crews. We have worked with major cell tower companies to complete new site surveys, audit existing sites, design DAS systems for communities that do not want unsightly cell towers in their communities and update maintenance to existing sites. We are using drones to inspect towers and to determine tower heights and locations for new tower sites. Our cell tower construction crews have years of reliable experience building cell towers and maintaining cell sites.
